Tip to make nail polish last longer

Nail polish is a fun way to add a touch of pizzazz to your look. With every color of the rainbow now available (not to mention all the sparkles and iridescent nail polishes too)...why not paint on something fun?!
Since nail polish never seems to last long enough....I thought I'd pass along this tip of how to make it last longer.... Rub your nails with white vinegar to the the moisture out of the nail, which helps the polish adhere and last longer! It's that simple!!!

Pick a fun COLOR!

  1. Does it damage your nails to have the moisture removed like that? I used to have such dry nails that they would flake and split so I am all about adding moisture in :)

    1. Yes, it will really clean and remove moisture from your nail bed...so it might make your dry nails crack and split more...give it a try on maybe just your thumb nail.

One thing I do know, it helps keep nail polish on longer!

  2. Awesome! Must try with my 7 year old daughter; nail polish only lasts an hour or so on her, and it drives her nuts that she can't wear nail polish like her friends.
