Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month....STOP what you are doing right now and make an appointment for your mamogram. When was the last time you had one anyways? No more procrastinating! Just do it!
Another way (literally) you can support the "girls" is with a good bra. Nothing improves your silhouette more than a supportive bra!
I have to say this new bra from Soma--is the bomb! It eliminates back fat and gives you a smooth look in your clothes! Now is comes in animal print too! Also, it is available w/ a back closure style if you prefer.

Since EARLY detection saves lives, I hope you'll join me and get your mamogram done!
Love, Leslie
I got my annual digital mammogram in June, and at the end of August I had a lumpectomy. Margins clear, sentinal lymph nodes clear. No chemo, no radiation; just the 5-year pill!
ReplyDeleteLeslie,
ReplyDeleteSounds like early detection saved your life! Thanks for sharing this with us.
As women we really have to be the ones to take responsibility for our own health. On top of our list must be getting a regular mamogram done.
I had a scare when I was 41. I had a needle biopsy and had to wait 2 weeks for the results--the waiting was the hardest part! Everything turned out okay for me.
Didn't know there was a 5 year pill. Sounds like you are on top of your care and doing well. Praise the Lord!

I had my first (and only!) scare when I was in my early 30's. I was fine (just lumpy LOL!), but I've gotten my mammograms faithfully since. I like the sassy bra; I don't think my husband is ready for it yet :D
